When Emco Engineering Ltd. was formed in 1973, it began as a multi-disciplinary company consisting of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and "Other" professionals. Hence Emco's name represents each of these disciplines. Over the years, Emco Engineering Ltd. evolved and now specializes in electrical engineering with a focus on industrial, municipal, commercial and institutional applications. In 2004, Guido and Associates Consulting Engineers merged with Emco. In 2005, L.R. Pearson and Associates also merged with Emco. In 2008, Emco moved forward with a name change to Pwrco Engineering Ltd. reflecting our focus on Power and Control. The amalgamated company now has seven offices across British Columbia, Canada with Ken Guido as the Managing Director. The seven offices include:
